Because the internal battery of the soft lithium-ion battery is liquid, its shape can generally have various shapes, which has a great advantage over the hard lithium-ion battery in the field that has specific requirements for the shape of the lithium-ion battery.
Compared with hard lithium-ion batteries, soft lithium-ion batteries have more or less advantages in terms of weight, capacity, and shape. However, there are relatively few core models of existing soft-package lithium-ion batteries, and the cost of developing new models is also high. Therefore, flexible packaged lithium-ion batteries can still meet less market demand.
